Supervision

Whilst supervision has always been a compulsory part of many other qualified professions such as social work, educational psychology and healthcare, it is not fully integrated or required across education.  However, with the expectation and demand on schools to continue to support an increasing complexity and intensity of pupil profile and need across their settings, supervision is becoming a necessity for staff working in education settings across a number of different areas and roles:

  • Early Years
  • SENCo and SEND staff
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection teams
  • Pastoral staff who work directly with children’s families.

Following the launch of Supervision in Education Quality Standards Framework, and successful completion of a Level 2 qualification with the Safeguarding Network, Taylor Made SEND are pleased to be able to offer reflective supervision to professionals in education.  Face to face sessions can be arranged for any setting based in North East Lincolnshire and by agreement for other areas as appropriate.

Are you a headteacher of a Single Academy Trust or Independent Special School?

Are you a SENCO who needs some time each half term to reflect on your practise and cases in order to move forwards?

Do you need quality supervision from a professional who understands the educational SEND landscape?

Taylor Made SEND Solutions can help. Rebecca holds over ten years’ experience of line managing and supervising both safeguarding and SEND professionals covering a range of school and Local Authority based roles.
